I am on H1b visa/India, kforce agreed to do the transfer after finding an opportunity and I ve signed 18 month contract. The opportunity I was interviewed was about developing a web application; within few minutes I got a call I am selected.

I was excited at the speed the things were turning up for me. Upon joining I was told to fix hundreds of bugs in their system under development. I managed to fix most of them, but my point is to highlight what was promised was not offered. I lost that job.

I have noticed they have more Direct Hires/Contract to Hire opportunities but very few H1b opportunities. So I moved across country for a job offer after no pay for more than a month. The client here was getting too demanding and rude after just a month I lost that job too soon after the client's rude comments. My funds are getting trimmed down fast.

It appears they don't care about me but money.

About a year is left for contract to end. I am thinking to get out of Kforce, but if anybody has been through such experience, what would they charge for breach of contract?

Location: San Diego, California

Yikes, unfortunately, I do not think there is anything you can do legally. Kforce is a temp to hire company, unless you have a written agreement, akin to a contract that would hold up in court showing the dates you thought you were going to work.

You just were taken advantage of.

KForce made their commission, so that is all that matters to them.

Hi, I have recently been told that I have also been hired by Kforce. Can you please share your experience with me?

You are stating very false information. You did not sign a contract.

You are not required to stay. There is no bond. There is no penalty to leave any job at any time. This is the fact.

You can leave at any time and go anywhere you like.

Find a job, apply and get hired by any company you like.

I would suggest you get a lawyer, there are many holes in the contracts, they are not pleasant to work. My contract stated that I cannot apply directly with the company that they sent me to for 1 year.

This company is huge with many locations, it is the same as saying you can't work which is illegal. I do not have much faith in these people at , they are after their commissions and contracts and do not lookout for the people that contract with them. Good luck to you.

I have not worked since June. Applying for jobs but will NOT use this agency.

:(

Hi Ravi,

Would you please let me know what happened in your situation. I am about to get into a full time employment with them but in two minds because of the agreement for 18 months.

What will they do if we leave K force and switch to another employer before the contract will end?

Thanks.

my mail id is madds20@***.com. Please let me know as I need to give a response in a few hours.

Hi

I am new to this forum, and try to be as direct as possible.

I having a h1b visa, I got a call from kforce for a job and they had schedule an interview. interview went well, now I have a offer with them, its on the W2 salary basis, package and benefits they are offering is hard to ignore for a person of my experience.

project is also long term (this what they say)

my only concern, they are saying they will only file my h1 transfer 3 days prior to joining.

is it safe risk?

what if they hold the position, after I put my paper in current employer.

any user who currently on h1 with kforce, please share your experience? Also they are not paying for my relocation, the place is san Antonio TX.
