Here is what I have encountered with different recruiters from Kforce.

When I first called about a position, I was told that the salary was a low amount, two weeks later I called about another position and was told that that it was filled.

Several weeks later, I called about the two same positions at different times and was told another story.

I then spoke to another recruiter recently about two more recently added positions, and each time I was told that the job was on hold. They never respond to my calls immediately, usually call me later to let me know.

Today 7/15/10, I called another agency spoke to the recruiter and verified that the job was still available, I then send in my resume, and followed up with a call, she claimed that she was going to a meeting and would call me after the meeting. Surprise, she never did, so I called back something to 5 PM, she answered and said that she was currently on the phone, and would call me back in 10 minutes, again, surprise, she never did, however, five minutes after speaking to her, she sent me an email(didnt even spell my name correctly) and informed me that the job was just put on hold.

Location: Brick Township, New Jersey

People need to stop relying on temp agencies to put them to work. It baffles me the number of people who sign up with an agency and then sit on their backside, waiting to be placed.

If you are out of work, you need to make finding a job your fulltime job.

Don't depend on some temp agency to pay your bills. Find your own work.

I have been reading some of these comments and it isn't too hard to realize why many of you were either let go or have recruiters that don't want to work for you. You all do realize what a contract job is right?

You get paid for the hours you work. You don't get paid holiday or anything like that. In some cases it might be the best way to get your foot in the door. If you don't get hired, it's not the recruiter's fault.

I'm sure they'd want you to get hired as I know they get a fee from the company that hires you. It might be time for some of you (not all) to look in the mirror and stop blaming someone else for your misfortunes.

I was hired for a 6 month contract by k-force with the possibility of extension. After being hired I was told that they could actually only pay me a certain amount that was about 10% less than I was originally told.

I then find out that K-force pays NO HOLIDAYS (Thanksgiving included) for their contractors/temps. To add insult to injury I discovered that they are billing the company I am assigned to nearly 49% more than what they are paying me.

Avoid this company like the plague, especially around the holidays. They could care less if you are broke and starving and are not going to have a Christmas and nearly not having a thanksgiving because of their greed.

You do realize all staffing agencies do this right? Otherwise there is no way they'd be in business. In my experience, RHI tries to make the most "margins" if you will off their employees.

Kforce is one of the worst agencies out there. Their staff are young, inexperienced and incompetent. They manipulate job seekers and lie to them. I could tell you stories of how they wasted my time, having me come in to interviews and making promises saying "I'll get back to you....we'll find you a position....ect" only to never hear from them again. Weeks go by and another rep from Kforce calls me to start it all over again.

I used to work temp assignments on a regular basis. It used to be somewhat of a specialty. I worked for RH Accountemps for years like that. Now, they won't even return my calls even though my skills, education and experience fit a position completely. They seem to have no recognition of our history. New recruiters look at my resume of temp jobs and say "you have no stability"!

I do have stability - as a project specialist! They created this monster and now they want to disown it? They are such numskulls they can't think outside the box. And the box changed, so now it's a different box than the one they were in before. I hate them!

I have worked for many staffing agencies as a consultant, and I have never had to jump through so many hoops to get a job, even after the client told them that they wanted to hire me. The employment verification process is very odd...they could not verify certain items on my application that should have been easy to verify, then Kforce asked me to jump through hoops with W2s and diploma verification.

I have never had so much trouble coming on board with a company before. I am having so much trouble I am beginning to think it is not worth it, especially after reading so many reviews by disappointed people. The employment verification people don't have their acts together.

It should have been easy to verify the items on my application. Something must be wrong with them.

I worked for Kforce as an IT Help Desk Tier 1 agent. During that time they issued a statement that they were cancelling restroom breaks during "Code Red" (High call ***).

Anyone that went into a break time related AUX code on the phone was subject to disciplinary action. Some were fired for this. When the firm they were contracted to confronted them on this, they simply said "Oh no, we did not cancel RR breaks, only during code red." They forgot to mention that heavy call volume in our particular center was 80% - 90% of the entire day, every day. Then they "found" an "accounting irregularity" (LOL!) for not paying us and having us clock out for our 15 minute breaks.

Forced to pay us back pay for these breaks they just flat out cancelled breaks and adjusted our schedules slightly to fit inside the law.

They soon lost the contract in record time. Dirty, shady company...

I was really taken aback with the practices of Kforce. Some staff do not return phone calls at times.

Responses to phone calls and emails are generally very nasty and condenscending. They will have you sign contracts for clients whom they know have cancelled their agreement with and pretend that they don't know about it. They bill their clients for full-time work although you aren't working and getting paid. They will give work out to their personal friends and train them while taking work from you.

It seems that some staff is comprised of a bunch of youngsters who are only interested getting a paycheck and forming an inclusive club. There is no professionalism although they come off that way at the beginning. Certain recruiters and staffing managers have no regard for your well-being and success in providing the quality services that truly experienced consultants are able to provide. It would be nice to know who the good recruiters and staffing managers are and who understand that many of us have a real life and have families to take care of.

KForce needs to adopt a better attitude as it relates to truly helping their real talent. That's where your money comes from.

This is the first temp agency I have worked for and could not be more pleased. I have dealt with Brian and Whitney (Tampa, FL office)and have not had any issues. Thanks for the great work!

THSKS for the undate I was going to hand in my application, but on second thought I would not like to work with LIARS.

This company is by far the worst staffing agency I have worked for. Inept staffing managers and it is true that they are not upfront or honest about company expectations.

They really have not concern for consultants, are very condensending and defensive when issues are addressed. Extremely unprofessional. You get jerked around only to be made to feel that it is your fault for having any expectations that they will give you work. They promise work, have you sign a contract and nothing happens.

I feel that they are charging clients as if you are working when they do not have you working. I would not recommend anyone work for Kforce nor should you trust anything that they tell you.

Guest

No one ever answers the phone. They posted an acounting job with a salary range of 50K-550K which I pointed out to them.

They didnt care. They are not recruiters, they are salespeople with ZERO recruiting skills

Guest

I would never recomment working for KForce. They do not care for the people they place.

Their employees cannot provide anything to you when it's asked for. RIDICULOUS COMPANY THAT SHOULD BE PUT OUT OF BUSINESS!
